Busy weekend

I talked to Renny and he's trying to get me a ticket to see Matchbox 20 tomorrow night in Halifax. That'll be awesome! So I've got to re-schedule visiting Sue and Jed for Sunday morning. There's never enough time when I visit....

While I was chatting with him, I mentioned that I'd also like to see The Rocky Horror Picture Show at Neptune Theatre and that I'd heard it was really good. He said his sister works there and that he'll get tickets for us for that. So I'm hoping he can get tickets for the 18th (the show only runs until the 19th).

Poor Renny. Luckily his house didn't get hit by any trees after hurricane Juan, but a few did fall, just missing it by a few feet. His brother managed to find someone who was selling a generator in Dieppe, so they broke down and bought one. Without electricity they have no water, since they live out in the country and use a well. Also, they have a couple of large freezers full of food that they couldn't afford to lose.
