Thursday, October 23, 2003 Creativity pleases my soul Last night was the first evening of the acting workshops. Despite the fact that it was FREEZING in the loft, I had a great time. It was a good start, and I'm looking forward to putting things into practice. We were given scenes to get to know for next week, and I can't wait to dive into it and do my homework. :-) After the workshop, Scott, Lisa and I headed back to Lisa and Anthony's. Anthony was hosting a fooseball tournament. I got to meet his friend Randy and Randy's girlfriend Vanessa, who are visiting from Toronto and seem very nice. I hung out for a bit, then went home, while they all took off to Chez Cherie. It was almost midnight by the time I got home and I know I should have just gone straight to bed, but I couldn't not pick up the script that I was given. Wow. Awesome! That's about all I can say. Awesome. So after staying up past my bedtime last night, I had a bit of trouble getting up this morning. Yarr. It's been a busy work day, which is always a treat. I'd rather be busy than not. Scott and I came up with a great idea for another play, while chatting on MSN. I can't wait to see what he comes up with! It looks like it'll be a fairly quiet evening. Maybe now I'll finally get a chance to check out School of Rock. And perhaps I'll be able to get a little bit of work done on my portfolio, or do a bit of gaming, or read, or work on my scene...
