The new Fabricville is AWESOME
When I walked in, I felt as though I'd stepped out of Saint John and into another world. They now carry a much larger selection of fabrics and notions. They now carry items I was looking for last year, that I couldn't find. The reason I went was to get fabric for a cape for my Wonder Woman costume. I managed to find some blue satin for a good price, and I did start on the cape last night. I'll finish it up on Thursday. I did pick up a couple of extra patterns while I was there too... ones that I'd been eyeing for the last year or so, and were on sale. Then it's just a matter of making the time to sew those things!
It'll be a busy day at work today. I'm supposed to be on a conference call for most of the day. And even without that, I still hhave a lot on my plate at the moment.
I'm looking forward to the acting workshop tonight. We'll be doing the first readings of our scene scripts. I've done my homework and gone over it a number of times, but I still don't feel prepared enough. I suppose it's normal that I'd put a lot of pressure on myself though. I'm also looking forward to hearing the other scenes, which are all from plays that I'm not familiar with.
