Another busy weekend

OK... where to begin... Friday night Colin invited me to check out Cliff's opening at Handworks. I had a lovely time and met some very nice people. Cliff's paintings are very nice - I hadn't seen any of his work before. (I know, it's as though I've been hiding under a rock when it comes to gallery showings in this city. I've only been to a couple within the last five years.) After we hung out for a bit, we decided to go for supper at D'Amico's. Jennifer Powers was singing, and I saw Lisa and Anthony at the bar, enjoying the music.

Saturday, I worked on the kids hocky team logo for Nancy. I spent the evening at Sandra's baby shower. (Am I ever glad it wasn't one of those "fluffy" ones with all of the games - I couldn't stand that.) My back has been bothering me quite a bit lately, and as a result I had a terrible tension headache, which tired me out, so I went home and straight to bed with a couple of extra-strength Robaxacet. As I was getting ready for bed, I noticed that I'm starting to go a bit grey. Normally I colour my hair so I'd never notice, but I can certainly tell in my roots. It's not a bad thing. In fact, I think it's kinda cool. :-)

Sunday morning, I had breakfast at Reggies with Colin. I haven't been there in quite a while. Good food and great conversation! I spent the afternoon at the readings for the one-act plays. There was a wide variety of plays that were submitted this year, and we only got about half way through the list. After that, I went home for a bite to eat, then to see the early show of Master and Commander with Colin. Great movie! Just what I was in the mood for!
