Wednesday, November 26, 2003 Back Better Bit by Bit Wow. It's mid-week already. Where does the time go? Last night Colin and I had a tasty dinner at Swiss Chalet and then rented a movie. We had initially planned on seeing Gothika, but after hearing about some pretty bad reviews of it, we decided a rental would be better. We landed on Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, which neither of us had seen. It was OK. Nothing special. It was nice to have an entire evening to relax. Tonight is our second-last acting workshop class. I'm looking forward to it. This week, I should be able to actually focus on the scene - and move - since my back is getting better. Tomorrow night is the annual general meeting, and then after that, it might be a good opportunity to pull out my artificial tree and try to at least start setting it set up. The worst part is getting the tree put together and the lights on properly. Anyone who knows me also knows that I'm not about to do a half-assed job of getting the lights on: I'm picky. :-) I have 500 coloured lights for my 6' artificial tree. When and if I ever decide to get a new artificial tree, I'm going to get the kind that folds up, instead of the one that comes apart. That way I can fold it up with the lights. Well, it looks like I'll be directing one of the one-act plays, Doomsday Clock, written by Scott Marshall. Yay! Auditions for the one-act plays will be next Tuesday and Wednesday at the loft.
