Getting ready for Winter
I give in. I wasn't ready for autumn, let alone winter. But with the temperature dropping, I have to concede.
Last night I got my winter tires put on. I went to WalMart, nad it was a three-hour wait. Fine. Three hours. I can deal with that. I'll just do a bit of browsing and grab a bite to eat. So I walked over to Swiss Chalet and had supper. I swear they had my order to me in about 2 minutes. After that, I stopped in FutureShop and then the mall and I picked up a few things while I was out and about. Lots of desperate and pushy sales people in the mall yesterday.
After I got my car back, I stopped in to play some SSX 3 with Scott. I don't really like the multiplayer aspect of it. I'd rather just play on my own and collect items and build up characters. I don't imagine I'll be getting anything so I can play online. I don't think it'll interest me. I really don't enjoy being competitive with other people. If I am going to be competitive, it'll be with myself. We also tried out SSX Tricky for a bit, but the characters are a whole lot harder to control than in the new game. Then, we tried a game of Scrabble - but we somehow managed to spell ourselves into a tight corner, so we gave up. Ah well. It was time I went home anyway.
The Christmas crafts booths are set up in the mall today. Lots of knick-knacks, ranging from very nice and very well-crafted to downright scary.
