Sunday, November 09, 2003 Visiting Mom I left for Halifax right after work on Friday. The weather wasn't too bad, but it was cold and some of the roads were a bit wet, so I'm thankful I had already put my winter tires on. While I was in Halifax, I visited Sue, who was in the Grace Hospital. She is due December 11th. At the moment her blood pressure is really high (which is why she is there), but at least the baby is doing fine. Hopefully she'll be able to carry it to term. Saturday morning, mom and I hopped in the car and headed back to Saint John. She will be visiting until Tuesday, when she will take the bus back. It was super windy yesterday, so I had a good 2-handed grip on the steering wheel and had to fight to stay in my lane. Yarr. We stopped in Moncton so I could pop in to RW & Co., my favourite clothing store. (So many nice things!) After stopping off at home, we decided to have supper at Swiss Chalet. Then it was back home to relax for a bit, which meant mom playing Hoyle board games on the Macintosh, and myself playing SSX 3 on the PS2 - quelle surprise! Around 8, we headed over to Lisa and Anthony's who were having a little get-together. There were quite a few people there. By 10 or 10:30, they decided to go to O'Leary's to catch a band, but I was pretty tired, so my mom and I just called it a night. Not entirely sure what we're going to do today, but no doubt we'll find something! Posted by Dre at 9:07 AM |
