Indeed
It is dang cold out for the Maritimes. -23ºC and with windchill, it feels like -37ºC. Don't forget to layer.
Had terrible service at FutureShop last night. Or lack of service might be a more appropriate term. Stood in line to make my purchase, with another 5 or 6 people. The teller for the one cash that was open was working on some sort of issue for the guy at the front of the line, so he was over at the customer service desk. We stood there for a full five minutes, as other employees walked past or stood at a back counter chatting. What does it take for someone to come and open another till? I was tempted to leave the items I wanted to purchase and get them elsewhere. Eventually someone made it over to the cash and opened a second till. When we left, the poor fellow at the front of the original line was still waiting for his stuff to be processed.
Colin and I had a lovely dinner at Mike's after that. Mmm... onion rings, beer, steak. Yum! After that it was home to finish backing things up on CD. I also spent a fair amount of time going over Doomsday Clock in preparation for our first real rehearsal which is this evening.
Just looking at the upcoming movies for Saint John and it doesn't look like we'll be getting Big Fish. Sigh
