Sweet Saturday
Auditions for Streetcar were last night. I was starting to lose my voice, so it was a bit of a challenge. I hope I did OK. I'm not sure when we'll hear if anyone got a part of if there will be another round of callbacks. Thankfully, they were gracious enough to let me read first so I could leave early. Colin and I had tickets to see the Ballet Jazz de Montréal at the Imperial. They were FABULOUS!! Wow. It was perfect. Wish we had more of that around here, but I'm glad it at least comes through Saint John.
I woke up this morning with NO voice at all. That was an interesting surprise to wake up to. After a big glass of water and a lot of coughing and hacking I've managed to mostly recover it. I'm currently powering through a ton of freshly squeezed orange juice in the hopes that it'll help drive this nasty cold out of my system. I think I am generally starting to feel a bit better today. It'll be good to try and get my rest this weekend. That should help too.
I made a small change to my site today. Got rid of the rotating pics on this page. They're still on the "About Me" page. The pic on the left is a self-portrait I did in about 1995 or 96.
