Monday, January 05, 2004 Weekend Update So Friday was a long day at work. I have a deadline for Monday and I was hoping to finish it, but I wasn't able to. Sigh. I went home and started rearranging my living room so I could install my new home theatre system. It was good post-work therapy. After a few hours of that, I gave up and headed over to Cliff and Shannon's with Colin. Clif made a "6 Minute" chocolate cake, which was lactose-free and very tasty. It was a relaxing and entertaining evening. I got straight back to work on my living room on Saturday morning. It turns out I had to re-wire, and re-arrange a lot of the shelving in my apartment so that I could have the home theatre system up and running properly. I can now watch DVDs and play PS2 in blissful surround sound! Saturday evening was dinner at Suwanna's to celebrate Jeff and Cliff's birthdays. That was tasty and fun and relaxing. Colin and I were both pretty tired after the big dinner, so we decided to call it a night pretty early. Sunday was another day of working on my apartment. I did some more tidying up, and I started looking into the corner of my living room where I want to put a computer desk. I'll have to do some more rearranging to fit it in there. I turned on my computer at home and it seems as though I have a virus on my Mac. Sigh. I'll have to find an evening this week to back up all of my files. Then I may need to re-install the OS. I hope not. Oh well. I also managed to get some grocery shopping done on Sunday. And I found a cute top at Winners. After groceries, I popped into Staples and looked at computer desks. It started to stress me out, so I gave up and will look again another time. I also need to find some shelving for my CD's and old cassettes. Fun, fun. Sunday evening was a great trip upriver for another very tasty supper and great company and hot tubbing. It was a perfect way to end the weekend! So the office is back to normal today. Everyone looks well rested after their 2 week vacations. I have a lot to work on to keep me busy and to make my work day fly by. So I'd better get at it.... Posted by Dre at 9:30 AM |
