Cue-to-cue... to be continued
I had a busy and productive day at work yesterday. After work, I headed home to grab some toast for supper, then it was off to cue-to-cue at the NB Museum. Our group was last. We didn't have enough time to finish our cue-to-cue, so we're going in early tonight to try to finish it before we do the dress rehearsal. Yippie. I think Anthony will be filming the dress rehearsal tonight. That'll be cool.
After cue-to-cue last night I was exhausted. There was a bunch of stuff I wanted to do but I wound up going to bed instead. I can't believe it's already the week of the show. Where did the time go? I've really been enjoying directing it. I'm fortunate that I have such a good cast. They've all been very hard-working and I'm sure they'll do a great job! It also helps to be working on a well-written play that Scott wrote. It's definately a different perspective of a show when you're directing it, as opposed to when you're acting in it. It's a great learning experience. I am looking at the overall picture and trying to fit all the peices together so that it matches what I have in my head. I'm looking forward to doing it again sometime.
