Friday Five

1. Are you superstitious?
No. I do understand why some people are though. It seems more like sheer coincidence if anything were to happen, or some sort of self-fulfilled prophecy whereby a person somehow manages to psych themselves out and essentially cause some sort of accident themselves.

2. What extremes have you heard of someone going to in the name of superstition?
Hmm... because I'm involved in the theatre, there are lots of superstitions there. I can think of at least one person who is quite superstitious about any mention of the Scottish play.

3. Believer or not, what's your favorite superstition?
Knock on wood. It's amazing how many people do that.

4. Do you believe in luck? If yes, do you have a lucky number/article of clothing/ritual?
Not really. I believe in coincidence.

5. Do you believe in astrology? Why or why not?
I think it's fun, but that's about it.
