IKEA/Fredericton/Calendar/Superbowl

The stuff I ordered from IKEA came in on Friday. Yay! I set the desk up and it looks great! I'll move my computer over to it and then get to the shelves soon. Then I'll have my drafting table free.

Colin and I headed to Fredericton for a few hours on Saturday. We went to Chapters, where I picked up 5 great books for only $15!! After Chapters, we stopped in at Strange Adventures and Radical Edge, and then stopped in to visit Colin's friends David and Gail (and Thomas and Rufus) for a bit before we headed back to SJ. Saturday evening was a quiet night in as Colin watched xXx and I tried to get started on the calendar for Doomsday Clock, although I wound up with printer problems instead.

Sunday morning I got up early and watched Seabiscuit, which I thought was very good. Then I headed out to Staples and picked up more ink for my printer and an office chair to go with my new IKEA desk. I spent the rest of the afternoon printing and cutting and rubber cementing things in order to make the calendar. I got about 2/3 of it done and then headed out to rehearsal. After rehearsal (which went well) I finished the calendar while watching the Superbowl (which was great!). I stayed up, barely able to stay awake, and watched most of Survivor All Stars, but I couldn't stay awake for the whole show.
