Congrats!

Congrats to some of my friends who got parts in this years Summer Shakespeare production, King Henry the IV, Part 1! Kristi will be Lady Percy, Alex will be Hotspur, Scott will be Gadshill, and Richard Roy will be Falstaff! I think it'll be a great show with all that talent! I can't wait to see it!!

I had a slowish day at work yesterday. After work, I popped into Coles and contemplated buying a few books. There's a new Guy Gavriel Kay book out, The Last Light of the Sun. It's a fantasy genre, and I've enjoyed the rest of his books and I'm excited that he's come out with a new one. I'm also interested in The Princes of Ireland by Edward Rutherfurd. He writes historical fictions that follow families through many centuries. Then, of course, I'd also like to pick up Dancing Barefoot by Wil Wheaton. I've been reading his blog and I really enjoy his writing. They don't have it at the Coles here, so I'll probably try to pick it up at Chapters next time I'm near one. While I was browsing, I also eyed One Hundred years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, which is an Oprah's Book Club pick. Alas, I left the store without making any purchases because I was feeling overwhelmed by all the great books to choose from. LOL

I had time for a quick meal when I got home, and then I had to run over to the Imperial Theatre to do makeup for the dress rehearsal of The Vagina Monologues. It looks like it's going to be a good show! By the time I got home, I was pretty tired. I've been doing quite a bit lately, and not getting to bed as early as I'd like, so I decided to try to catch up on some sleep and I hit the hay at around 10.
