Monday, March 15, 2004 Lots Going On Friday evening I snuck in a one hour nap after work, then ran over to the Imperial to do makeup for The Vagina Monologues. It was just Pam and I, but we weren't rushed, which was good. Then Colin picked me up and we went around front to see the show. We both enjoyed it. By the end I was pretty hungry. We met up with Lisa and Anthony and headed to Churchills for a drink and a bite to eat. Saturday morning I made it to the gym for a full workout, even though I didn't have much energy. (I was hoping it'd give me some.) Then Colin and I had a tasty brunch at Reggies and I stopped at home to drop off my gym stuff and get my gorcery list. I found out from my mom that My Aunt Jessie is going to come from Saskatoon to see A Streetcar Named Desire. Yay!! I then headed out to run a few errands. I didn't get home from running around until 5:30 PM! Between the Superstore which is busy and still under construction, and the loads of traffic and all the folks at the mall, I was pretty worn out. I spent some time designing the logos for The Uptown DownLo and Stuck in Heels but I didn't have the energy to finish drawing the shoe in the Stuck in Heels logo. Colin came over around 9 and we watched the first half of To Live And Die In L.A. - I didn't have the energy to stay awake and finish watching it. Sunday I got up early and headed over to Lisa and Anthony's to edit Stuck in Heels. That took me until 12:30 or 1 PM. I was wiped. Anthony needed his computer back so he could do some work. I asked him to edit the rest of the show. Even though it wasn't going to be as fancy as we'd hoped. I think next time, Lisa and I should try to do all of the stuff for the show within one day. Right through to the final editing. I'm also wondering if one show a month will be about all I can handle. I then decided to take a short nap, waking up at 3:30 when Colin called. He picked me up shortly thereafter, and we went upriver to hang out with Bill & Dawn and Shannon & Cliff (and all the pets). The company and food were fabulous. We left at around 9 PM and saw 2 deer on the road on our way home. I went straight to bed. Today has been a busy day. My morning flew by, and at lunch Colin gave me a lift over to the west side to pick up my stained glass panels - which had been out to be repaired for about two-and-a-half years.. They fixed one small panel, but never got around to the two larger ones. They were nice enough to not charge me for the work they did on the small panel. It's good to have them back. I can live with the broken peices of glass in the larger panels. I'm ready for a nap, but there won't be time for it today. I have a busy afternoon at work, then a trip to the gym, then I'm meeting some of Colin's friends for dinner. Hmmm... unless I nap instead of going to the gym, and I get my workout in tomorrow....
