Monday, March 08, 2004 Weekend update I met up with Kristi and Lisa for a couple of drinks and dinner at Churchills after work on Friday. Later that evening Colin and I watched 2 more episodes of season 1 of 24. Saturday was very productive. I went to the gym with Lisa and Colin and managed to do a full workout. The afternoon was spent filming the sketch with Lisa for The Uptown DownLo - thanks to Kristi and Ryan for starring in it. Colin came over for supper and I tried a new recipe: south seas squash - take a butternut squash and cut it in half and cook it. Then prepare a mixture of pineapple, brown sugar, rum, butter, cinnamon and a pinch of salt and mix it together and spoon it into the squash center and stick it under the broiler for a few minutes... mmmm... tasty! We watched the remaining 7 episodes of Season 1 of 24 on Saturday night. Glad we're done! It's exhausting watching so much TV!! I don't want to watch episodic TV like that for a LONG time! Sunday was another busy day. After a big breakfast at Reggies, I spent the afternoon with Lisa and our special guest, filming an interview for The Uptown DonwLo. then I napped for an hour, gamed (SSX 3) for an hour and by then it was supper time. Colin and I had a tasty meal at Swiss Chalet and then we went to see Hidalgo with Colin's cousin David and his wife Mary-Gwen. I enjoyed the movie. It was good. Nothing spectacular, but good. Just what I needed for a Sunday evening of relaxation. After the movie, I went home and re-read the entire script for A Streetcar named Desire. Posted by Dre at 10:21 AM |
