Monday, July 19, 2004 Geeking Out Friday night I hung out with John and Melanie and discovered a new addiction: Star Wars games on the Xbox. Saturday I made it to the gym for a full workout and then ran errands in the afternoon. That evening I barbequed with Lisa and Anthony. I made a greek salad and brought it over. (Man - just typing that is making me crave it again.) We hung out and I introduced tehm to Prince of Persia for the PS2. Anthony tried to help me through a tough spot in the game but he couldn't get past it either. Sigh. Then Scott and Suzy stopped by. We headed down to Mexi's and met up with some of the cast and crew from Shakespeare and then a bunch of us decided to go dancing at Studio 54. It was fun, but it also reminded me why I don't go out much anymore. I can't stand people bumping into me, the smoke and fake fog were horrible, and the leering guys surrounding the dance floor were just plain creepy. Sunday afternoon I went rollerblading in harbout passage with Colin. It was fun - I hadn't been out on blades in about 4 years. This was Colin's first time. He did quite well. Neither of us flailed about too much. (Don't forget your wristguards if you plan to go rollerblading.) It was a good workout and fun! That evening, after flipping channels, I decided to head down to the corner store and see what I could rent. I picked up Band of Brothers and watched the first episode before I hit the hay.
