Monday, October 11, 2004 Happy Thanksgiving! So - to recap the past few days, Thurday night I worked late then stopped at Subway to grab a bite to eat, then went and did makeup for Our Town. After I finished with the makeup I went home and took a long hot bath and called it an early night. I was pretty exhausted. Friday - after another super-busy day at work, I had an hour of intense training at the gym, then headed to the museum to do makeup for Our Town. I stuck around after the show and grabbed a beer at the Ale House with some of the folks in the cast and friends. Saturday I came into work - yippie. I then headed to the museum to do makeup for the final night of Our Town. It was a fun cast party - I danced most of the evening and I even made it to breakfast! On Sunday I slept in pretty late. It was my birthday so I didn't feel too guilty for taking it easy (and I was a bit hung over). Early afternoon, I went for coffee with Colin at the new Java Moose on Prince William Street (what a nice spot!). He gave me a nice ball cap, a weird yet intriguing Spiderman toy/whistle/cany thing and Star Wars Classic Trilogy Trivial Pursuit for my birthday! Thank you very much, Colin! After that I did a bit of tidying, and around 4:30 Lisa and Anthoy called to invite me to East Side Mario's for supper. The food was decent and there was lots of it - but our waitress was impatient and an extremely low talker - not a good combination. Lisa and Anthony gave me a beautiful pin of a polar bear for my birthday that I'm really looking forward to wearing. Thanks, guys! After supper, Lisa and I rentedJericho Mansion, which was filmed in Saint John. What an odd little movie! After that, I hit the hay nice and early so I could get a full day of work in today. Yep - I'm back in at the office. I have a major deadline due on Friday and there's enough stuff to be done that a decent amount of overtime is required. Oh well - it's not like I'd be doing much ayway - and I'll just take a bit of time off when I do really need it. So that's about it - oh I almost forgot - I also checked out Old Navy this weekend - talk about a busy spot. and that about sums up my weekend. I hope everyone is having a wonderful Thanksgiving! UPDATE: I forgot to say a thank you to Scott Marshall for the awesome book he gave me for my birthday; "The Action Heroine's Handbook - How to Win a Catfight, Drink Someone Under the Table, Choke a Man With Your Bare Thighs, and dozens of Other TV and Movie Skills" by Jennifer Worick and Joe Borgenicht. It's very entertaining! Posted by Dre at 8:44 AM |
