Monday, October 18, 2004 Long Weekend I made the most of my Friday off - I got up early (without using the alarm clock), dealt with my laundry, went out to the mall for a bit, ran a few errands, did some cardio at the gym and squeezed in a nap. That evening a few of us got together to do a little karaoke and we wound up going to the Somerset. Not that I actually got up and sang, but I did enjoy cheering my friends on. Saturday, after trying to sleep off a bit of a hangover, I went to see Shall We Dance (starring Richard Gere, Susan Sarandon and Jennifer Lopez). I quite enjoyed it. I then spent the evening working on a graphic design project for a friend, while listening to the commentary on Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. Sunday I met up with Colin for breakfast at Reggie's. Then I spent the afternoon helping Martine find some new clothes at the mall. She had her kids with her and they were very well-behaved. That was a fun afternoon - and it flew by! After that, I had a little nap, went to the gym to do some cardio, had a bite to eat, then spent the evening playing Knights Of The Old Republic on my x-box. I'm still on the first planet but I've gotten a quite a bit further than I was. So far I've been doing a decent job of getting lightside points. It looks like another busy week. Rehearsals start tonight for Dangerous Liaisons and I'm pretty excited. Just about the entire cast will be there tonight to meet each other and do our first read-through. Posted by Dre at 9:18 AM |
