Monday, January 17, 2005 Rockin' It Old-Style I went to Halifax on Saturday night to go to the annual Tour Tech Party with Renny and Harry. The crowd wasn't as dressed up as they had been in years past, so it was a good thing that I wasn't in the mood to get super dressed up for it. I wound up wearing a bright pink knit tank top with beads sewn into it and a pair of black dress pants. This year we got there a bit later than usual, so between that and running into a ton of people I only get to catch up with once a year anymore, the evening flew by. There were 6 bands on the B stage and 6 bands on the main stage, which included MIR, Glass Tiger, Harlequin and Prism. I am guessing that there was about 2500 people there. I was please as punch that there is no more smoking indoors, which has really bothered me in previous years. After the party started to wind down, a few of us headed over to Cheers until they closed. When I got home from Halifax on Sunday I unpacked and got straight to work on a few things that needed to get done for "The Red Glove". Suzy popped over and we discussed what her role as Stage Manager would encompass, and then I got to work on the contact list, homework list and schedule, while keeping one eye on the Golden Globes.
