Friday Feast #46
Appetizer:
Name a store or restaurant you no longer visit because of a bad experience you had there.
I won't go to Tapps to eat anymore. About 7 or 8 years ago, a group of us from work used to eat there all the time and as we got more familiar to the wait staff, the service went completely downhill. It was as though they got complacent with us. Any restaurant that thinks it's OK to make you wait 40 minutes between ordering your food and serving it to you will not get my serrvice any more. That also goes for The Apple Barrel in downtown Halifax.
Soup:
If you could own any building in existence, which one would you want?
Would I have to pay property taxes and heating and would I have to keep up the maintenance? If so, I wouldn't want something too big. The first thing that popped into my head was the Taj Mahal but then I started to thing it's a little drafty-looking and I prefer something a bit cozier and that wouldn't have a ton of tourists trapsing through it. I guess that rules out owning the Louvre as well - as much as it would be nice to have access to all of that art. Hmm... so that leaves me with either a castle in Scotland or a Spanish villa - oh yes - a Spanish villa overlooking the coast of the Mediterranian!
Salad:
What's your favorite commercial these days?
As it is, I barely watch any TV. Uh - nothing stands out for me at the moment. I can't even think of a single memorable commercial.
Main Course:
When was the last time you felt guilty about spending money, and what was it you purchased?
Excuse me? Guilty? About spending money? ROFL
Dessert:
Friday's Feast is going to be having it's First Birthday in 2 weeks. What should we do to celebrate?
Design a special cocktail for the occasion.
