The Other Stella
My friend Joanna has recently moved into a new apartment and next Friday she is having a little housewarming get-together. Recently, while I was over at her new place, she was asking my opinion about where she plans to hang some pictures in her place. She has a couple of bare walls inthe living room that would suit a good sized piece of artwork but has nothing to go in either spot. So I suggested that I whip up a painting for her for the housewarming party. I am working from a picture of her dog, Stella. What a sweet dog - and it's a great photo of her! So last night I worked on the painting. I think I have about one more night's work to do on it. I'd like to get it done early because it's oil and I want to make sure it's dry by next week.
