Weekend Update
After work on Friday, I finally got a chance to get out and check out the karaoke that Lisa has been hosting at the Somerset. I headed over with Beth and neither of us got up to sing anything. Saturday I ran a few errands, went to the gym, then did a bit of cleaning (I needed to clean out my art supply shelving unit in my living room so I could make room for soem other items - talk about a big job - I felt like I barely made a dent.) That evening Julie A was having a house party in Grand Bay. I was going to give Lisa and Anthony a lift out but Lisa's grandfather took a turn for the worse and was in the hospital so they had to head out there instead (Lisa, I hope everything is OK.) I headed out on my own and wound up catching up for a bit with Michelle, BT and Ryan (happy belated b-day by the way, Ryan!) then I left early. I was starting to fade after having had a pretty full day. I was up around 7:00 on Sunday morning and got straight to work on cleaning out my art supply shelving unit. I managed to get rid of a few large bags of garbage - just stuff that I don't need anymore. I managed to make room for some new stuff - like scrapbooking items and scripts. I finished around 4:30 PM and now my living room sparkles! Part of my motivation was the fact that I have relatives coming to stay later this week. Sunday evening I went for dinner with Beth at Swiss Chalet and then we went to see Monster in Law. Man, that was a funny movie - much better than I'd expected! I think I needed a bit of silly for my weekend. :-) I got home around 9-ish and got to work on the list of necessary makeup items for Julius Caesar. While I was working on that, I put G.I. Jane on in the background. Love that movie.
Oh yeah, and congrats to Joanna on running a personal best on her leg in the Cabot Trail Relay!
