Monday, June 20, 2005 Post-Vacation Sleep I still feel like I need to catch up on sleep from vacation. That was a lot of driving, and the late night at the end of the trip wore me out a bit. On Thursday I managed to be pretty awake for our work boat cruise socail event. They had a karaoke machine and I sang a terrible rendition of "New York, New York" before doing a duet of "Kiss" with Beth. Ah - the silliness. I went home and napped but had a tough tiem waing up for class. I was barely functioning through class but still insisted on going out thanks to my sometimes stubborn nature. I should have just gone home and called it a night because by Friday I still felt worn out. Friday evening I was supposed to go to the Somerset for more karaoke with a few of the gals from work, but our plans fell through and I wasn't up for anything loud or active anyway. I wound up purchasing Hitch and hung out with Colin and watched it. I really enjoyed that movie - and I'm happy to have it in my collection. Saturday I still felt pretty tired. I tried going for a run but was having some knee problems and was feeling a bit nauseous, so it turned into a pretty short run. Later that evening, I headed over to Dee and Jeff's new restaurant/bar Sebastian (opening on Friday!) for a little photo thing for one fo their ad's. After sampling a couple of awesome martini's, Dee and I popped over to Lemongrass for dinner. I didn't last long after that. I had originally planned to head out to Quispamsis for a friend's b-day party but I didn't feel up to it. Instead, I went home and went to bed. I was woken up in the middle of the night by my upstiars neighbor who was having a house party. After clse to 3 hours of tossing and turning, I finally fell back asleep. Sunday - I still felt worn out. Sigh. I had all sorts of intentions to get to the gym but I couldn't bear it. Besides, I had a busy day that involved some Shakespeare stuff and rehearsal with Beth for our workshop scene. We rehearsed on Beth's new deck - which is awesome! I'm already looking forward to her first deck party! I have a huge list of things to do once again. Funny how that happens when you go away. Time for me to get to tackling the list....
