"Fitness Like Honor Cannot be Bestowed, it Must be Earned"

Leave the office, grab a bite to eat, get changed, gather supplies, head to the Gothic Arches for the final dress rehearsal for Julius Caesar. Spend 1.5 hours applying makeup to 1/3 of the cast, as Beth and Michelle (thanks guys!!) worked on the other 2/3rds. Then watch part of Act 1 and deal with some makeup issues that arose, then make Brian J. look like a different character, make Caesar more ghostly, pack up and head home.

When I got home I dropped off my makeup kit and donned an old INXS t-shirt then headed over to Jay's where Jay, Liz, Lisa and I watched the first episode of Rock Star: INXS (which I'd missed) then we watched the 1/2 hour results show that was on at 10:30. It's a really good series - I can't get over the quality of the singer/performers. Amazing. By the time I got back home I was dead-tired. My legs were sore from standing all evening and doing makeup and I was SO ready for bed. I am pretty sure I fell instantly asleep as my head hit the pillow.

The next thing I knew, my alarm was buzzing and it was 6:00 AM. Time flies when you're sleeping the sleep of the dead. I met up with Colin within 15 minutes and we headed over to Rockwood Park for a morning run. I ran "6 and 1's" along a somewhat hilly trail. It was cool and misty out this morning with just a hint of the heavy humidity of summer. It was perfect weather for a run. We saw 4 rabbits (of course, it may have only been one or two since we'd doubled back on the trail 1/2 way through the run). So I got 43 minutes of running in within 50 minutes this morning. Thanks Colin for the running support, encouragement and company. If I had planned to run on my own this morning I may very well have just stayed in bed instead. Not a bad start to the day, even if it was a little early. Now I could use a nap....
