Happy Canada Day!
Alas my cold quickly turned into a flu on Tuesday evening and I spent next day and a half in bed recouperating. Thankfully I was feeling mostly better by Thursday evening so I could do my final performance of the scene I had with Beth for our workshop. By then, all that was left of this cold/flu was a blistering headache that even Advil wouldn't help. I decided to do my best to ignore it. The beginner and advanced classes got together and performed our monologues and scenes for friends and family. (Thanks, Colin and Joanna for coming out!) I really enjoyed the evening. It was a delight to see all of the monologues that the beginner class had worked on and since I'd missed our class on Tuesday it was a real treat to see how much eveyone in my class had progressed with their scenes. Great job, everyone!!
It's Canada Day and it's nice to have a day off and not be sick in bed. I'm looking forward to heading over to Kizzy and Jamie's for their BBQ/party. I hope you all have a wonderful Canada Day! Now I'm off to find some red and white stuff to wear.... ;-)
