We Are Fortunate
It is November and I walked to work in dress shoes. That really means something here. For the last couple of years we have been pretty fortunate with our long autumns. This year is no exception. If you were living in Winnipeg, for example, it would have snowed in early October and that same snow would probably still be there. When I was a kid I don't remember having a warm Halloween like we had this year. I was always disappointed that I had to cover my costume up with a parka and snow boots. And herre we are this year - able to enjoy an exceptionally late and long autumn. It's a nice treat. I'm not terribly fond of the cold. Windchill is not my friend. It never has been. I hope we have a good winter this year - but not 'till December 24th please!
