Wednesday, February 08, 2006 It was a full evening It was a very full evening for the cast and crew of Coelacanth last night. We moved our set pieces over to the NB Museum and then got to work on fixing the end of Scene 1 so that it had a better flow. Then we waited around for a bit as we were the last team to do our techincal run in the Mary H. Oland Theatre. There's some pretty particular blocking in the first scene that we managed to tweak as we made use of the stage extension. I think it is coming along well. I don't know about the cast but I was happy and exhausted by the end of the night. I was home and in bed by 10:30 but my mind was still going so I don't think I fell asleep until midnight. I was sleeping pretty lightly when I half woke up at 3:00. Now the kittens know my regular routine - I usually half-wake up around 7 or 7:30 and if they are cuddly and purr loudly, usually that will wake me up a bit more. I'll pet them for a bit and then get up and feed them. So when I half-woke up at 3:00 AM, the cats didn't know the time, and they thought it's time to get me up so I could feed them. They were loud and purring and insisted on being petted for a good 45 minutes before they settled down. Thank goodness I don't get up and feed them if they are scratching at me or getting into things. When I finally woke up this morning, Hunter decided that touching me on the nose repoeatedly with his paw was the way to get me going - what a nut! Posted by Dre at 8:05 AM |
