It's Coming Together
Last night the folks involved with Script Happens got together at the mini theatre at Saint John High and ran all four shows. It was my first opportunity to see the other shows and I was really impressed. All four shows run about 15 - 20 minutes long and they are all very funny. It's inspiring to see everyone doing such a good work with their shows and I'm really pleased with the selection of plays we have, as all four of them are comedies.
This morning I took an early lunch and Chad & I headed over to CFMH 92.5 at UNBSJ (which you can listen to online by going to Shoutcast.com and searching for CFMH) where we were guests on Leanna's program "Sunny Side Up" to promote Script Happens and talk a bit about the Saint John Theatre Company and its Second Stage initiative.
Also, Andrea McAuliff wrote an article about Script Happens that is in today's Telegraph Journal and you can find it online right here.
So - don't forget - If you're free on Thursday, Friday or Saturday evening, I would love if you can come over to the NB MUseum to catch Script Happens - tickets are available at the front desk of the Museum and they are only $10 each!
