Back at work
I had to take some time off last week as I couldn't sit in an office chair for any amount of time (let alone in front of a computer). So I spent the better part of last week trying to get some sleep and watching some DVDs. I even gamed a bit (yes - more Dragon Quest VIII which is a very long game.) My back and neck are doing a lot better. I still can't lift anything heavy, or hold any wieght above my head, and opening doors and drawers is a bit difficult, but I can turn my head again and I'm good for some walking around etc. It'll be an extremely busy week so I'm glad I'm feeling better!
On Tuesday, I got my eyes tested for the first time in a few years and I have a slight perscription change. I've ordered a couple of new pairs of glasses and I can't wait for them to come in! I love getting new frames!!
I've also managed to gather the remainder of the costume pieces necessary for Sight Unseen (which is this Thursday night, Friday night, Saturday afternoon and Saturday night at the Imperial). Thanks to Brenda for saving the day with a fantastic suit and blazer for Scott. I have to admit, I'm not a huge fan of shopping for things when it means that I have to look through a ton of bins or racks. But I did have fun doing a bit of power-shopping with Scott on Saturday morning so we could find some jeans and shoes for his character. I can't believe the show is this week!
