A Quiet Evening
Mid-evening, I met up with Colin and Joanna at Churchills for a bit last night. It was good to catch up. Joanna was nerrvously awaiting news on a cottage she is looking into purchasing, so the distraction was probably good for her :-)
After that I headed home to what I though would be the final section of DragonQuest VIII. Well, for one thing, the level was much larger than I'd anticipated. So that took me a fiar while to clear out. Then it led to what looks like the actual final chamber. I decided to take my characters back to town and do a bit of alchemy in preparation for the big battle. I need to go hunt down a certain monster and hope that they drop a cerrtain item that I need for the item that I want to make. So, knowing that I still had a lot more ahead of me than I'd originally anticipated, I decided to put the game away for a bit and put on Carlito's Way. I got about half way through it before I started to doze off, so I just shut things down and hit the hay.
My kittens were super-cuddly this morning. It was a real treat, but it made it that much more difficult to get up and head in to the office.
