Monday, September 25, 2006 Le Weekend Friday after work, I went for a run along Harbour Passage, then washed my hair then headed to Jay M's b-day dinner at Boston Pizza. I had planned on going to The Blue Olive afterwards, but I was tired and had a bit of a rumbly tummy from something I ate, so I opted to go home and go to bed. Saturday I was in the mood to clean. I even cleaned out some cabinets. I think I'd been at it for about 4 hours when Lisa called to see if I was still up for heading to the gym. We have worked out a fitness schedule that works around our rehearsal schedule and we'd both like to stick to it as much as we can. We had a good full body workout - by the end of it we were both pretty tired, but glad we'd gone. Saturday evening I was hoping to catch up with my friend Stuart, who was in town to sing at the NB Opera gala, but due to email server issues, we didn't get in touch with each other. So I enjoyed a fun and delightfully filling evening at Suzy's as she'd invited a handful of single female friends over for dinner. Thanks again for the amazing food and great company! Sunday was pretty grey out around here. I grabbed a bite to eat at Reggie's with Colin and then headed home to work on my lines. And I procrastinated by playing Animal Crossing. I then decided to get my act in gear and at least get out for the run that I'd scheduled for myself. By this time it was pretty rainy and windy, but then I remembered that I enjoyed running in the rain (it's rather refreshing). I ran Harbour Passage and a bit of uptown and wound up getting 35 minutes of running in. It felt great and I was so glad I got out! Sunday evening was a quiet one. I did spend a bit of time on the script after procrastinating some more, and managed to hit the hay a bit earlier than I'd expected. Posted by Dre at 8:10 AM |
