Belated Weekend Update
Let's see if I can remember the weekend...
Friday I caught up with Chad over dinner. We decided to treat ourselves with good food, and wound up eating way too much at Suwanna. It always happens when I go there. We then headed out to Brenda's surprise birthday party. .It was lovely, and the slide show was fantastic. Folks were saying that the samosas and sushi were fantastic, but I couldn't even handle the smell of food after a big dinner. A few of us stopped in at Churchills for a beverage on the way home, which was a nice way to end the evening.
Saturday I got groceries and did some work on Cabaret production stuff during the day. It flew by. That evening, I went to see 300 with Kizzy and then we went and hung out with Kristi and Heather. Another fun evening. :-) Glad I saw the movie in the theatre - loved the style!
Sunday was a busy day of Cabaret as I finished tweaking the schedule (a big thanks to Sandra for her 8+ hours of work on it!) and heading to the musical rehearsl for a bit. After that, I ran a couple of small errands and then headed home and finished the book I was reading, Ysabel by Guy Gavriel Kay. I then got a bit more done on the Cabaret set design while "watching" A Good Year starring Russell Crowe. Funny that both the book and the movie turned out to be set in Provence.
Monday flew by. I spent the evening shadowing Andrea C with Glass menagerie cue-to-cue and then heading home to do some Cabaret production stuff.
