The Missing Margerine
Honest to goodness, you would think that we lived in a civilized society yet there are things that happen at work sometimes that just boggle the mind. You see, we have a small kitchen/lunch room in the office with a fridge. I keep a tub of Becel margerine in that fridge and I have my name written on the lid in black permanent marker. Every now and then, I bring in a couple of pieces of bread and some soup from home, and I look forward to using my margerine to butter my bread. When I went to do this today, my margerine was gone. I don't understand why anyone would feel they had any reason to touch it. It was clearly mine, and it's not like it was going bad and needed to be thrown out. I'm sitting at my desk with mysoup and dry toast and I have neither the time nor cash to go and get a new tub of margerine (not to mention the fact that if I did have the time, my soup and toast would be nice and cold by the time I got back to my desk. Sure, I could reheat the soup, but how do you decently reheat toast?) I just don't understand it.
