The "Grown-Up" Survey

1. What bill do you hate paying the most?
Rent, only because I have to physically write a cheque and bring it to them each month.
2. Where was the last place you had a romantic dinner?
Romantic dinner? Closest would be a fantastic meal with the always enjoyable company of my friend Chad.
3. Last time you puked from drinking?
I did it once - on my 18th birthday (which is - or at least was - legal drinking age in Manitoba).
4. When is the last time you got drunk and danced on a bar?
I have not done that and I have no plans to.
5. Name of your first grade teacher?
I do not remember.
6. What do you really want to be doing right now?
Vacationing in Scotland.
7. What did you want to be when you were growing up?
Creative and independent.
8. How many colleges did you attend?
Two - University of Manitoba and NSCAD University.
9. Why did you choose the shirt that you have on right now?
I'm wearing a $6 cream sweater from Superstore. It's a good fit and I love thin knits and the price was right.
10. GAS PRICES?
Glad I don't drive much.
11. If you could move anywhere and take someone with you?
Hmmm... the south of Spain, and I'd take my cats.
12. First thought when the alarm went off this morning?
What am I going to wear today?
13. Last thought before going to sleep last night?
So.... tired...
14. Favorite style of underwear?
boy cut, low rise
15. Favorite style of underwear for the opposite sex?
boxer breifs
16. What errand/chore do you despise?
Well, I'm not too fond of cleaning the bathroom.
17. If you didn't have to work, would you volunteer?
Absolutely.
18. Get up early or sleep in?
I'm not a morning person. Never really have been.
19. What is your favorite cartoon character?
I don't think I have one.
20. Favorite NON sexual thing to do at night with a girl/guy?
Curl up, cuddle and watch a DVD.
21. Have you found real love yet?
I thought I did a couple of times, but I guess I was wrong.
22. When did you first start feeling old?
Only a little bit within the last year or two.
23. Favorite 80's movie?
Labyrinth
24. Your favorite lunch meat?
Pastrami
25. What do you get every time you go into Sam's Club? Or Walmart?
We don't have a Sam's club here and I don't go to Walmart very often, unless I need to replace my $1.50 shower curtain liner, or anything like that.
26. Beach or lake?
Lake.
27. Do you think marriage is an outdated ritual?
Sometimes.
28. How many people do you stalk on Facebook?
No one.
29. Favorite guilty pleasure?
Socializing, even when I have stuff to do.
30. Favorite movie you wouldn't want anyone to find out about?
I don't think I have one. I'm pretty much an open book about the things I like and don't like.

Rusty Nail

I'm still appalled at while Europeans did to such a great culture as they came to North America.

Cops - I'm a bit of a goody two-shoes.
34. Who from high school would you like to run into?
I'd love to catch up with Esther again.

CBC
36. Norm or Cliff?
Cliff. I periodically have my moments where I expound upon a "little known fact..."
37. The Cosby Show or the Simpsons?
The Cosby Show. I never got into the Simpsons.
38. Do you like the person who sits directly across from you at work?
No one sits across from me really. But I like my cubicle buddy.
40. If you could get away with it, who would you kill?
Nobody.
41. What famous person(s) would you like to have dinner with?
Gerard Butler, James Purefoy, Daniel Craig, Meryl Streep, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Mandy Patinkin, John Malchovitch, David Mamet, Lord Byron, Shakespeare, Jane Austin, Kate Winslette, Cate Blanchette, Viggo Mortenson, Billy Boyd, Drew Barrymore, Guy Gavriel Kay, Clark Gable, Gary Sinese, Grace Kelly, William Goldman, etc.... (in no particular order of course)
42. What famous person would you like to sleep with?
Gerard Butler seems like he'd be a lot of fun (and meets the height requirement!)
43. Have you ever had to use a fire extinguisher for its intended purpose?
Yes. Not in my place though. What a mess to clean up, but boy do they work!
44. Last book you read for real?
I'm slowly working my way through "Dragonfly in Amber" by Diana Gabaldon. Lately I've been too tired to read by the time I manage to get to bed.
45. Do you have a teddy bear?
I have a couple tucked away in storage.
46. Strangest place you have ever brushed your teeth?
What an odd question. Lots of times when camping.
47. Somewhere in California you've never been and would like to go?
Catalina Island. My friend Al used to tell me about it.

Nope.
49. At this point in your life would you rather start a new career or a new relationship?
A new relationship.
