Been Busy
My apologies - my posting slackness is directly proportional to how busy I've been. Rehearsals are going great for Cabaret and they are every night as well as Saturdays and Sundays. Free time is a bit of a precious commodity these days, so I've ben taking my free hour at the end of each night and reading "Neverwhere" by Neil Gaimon. I've even been putting my lunches to good use this week by getting things done like doctor's checkup, dental appiontment, etc.
I somehow went 4 years between dental checkups, and the one thing that sent me in was a cracked filling. When I went in for my cleaning, half of the cracked filling popped out, and the next thing I knew, I was making an appointment to get it replaced and to get some new fillings where my teeth had decalcified (thanks to having braces on for far too long about 20 years ago). That appointmnent was this week, and it was not a fun one. I wound up needing tons of extra freezing (they even had to stop in the midst of it and re-freeze me) and it was a good 2 hours. I'm still feeling like I got punched in the jaw, and the appointment was a couple of days ago. At least he did a great job with the teeth - they look great and have not affected my bite at all!!
