Best of luck in Montreal, Lisa!

Well, last night I'd intended to run out to Winners to find a fancy plantpot for my desk at work, but got side-tracked when Colleeen called and asked if I wanted to catch up with her over a drink at Churchills. Eventually I had to head out to Lisa's "Truck-Packing Party." Actually, it was nice to catch up with a few friends, and welcome Mike D back from New Zealand. (I'd just added his blog to my blog roll on the left and he moved back and stopped updating. I'm going to keep it on for a bit in the hopes that he'll start updating with his New Brunswick adventures - hint, hint!)It took a while to bring things down and get the truck loaded, and as a reward, we all relaxed and chatted for a bit on the front stoop before caling it a night.

So Lisa is doing her big move to Montreal today. Scott M and Mare were very generous in offering to drive her and her truck of goods to Montreal. Hopefully she'll have a decent amount of help on the other end, and hopefully Scott and Mare will have an enjoyable weekend to themselves in Montreal. I'm sure Lisa will have all sorts of great adventures in Montreal - I wish her the best of luck!!
