Recent Knitting
I spent a couple of hours one evening making a fun little baby hat for a friend who is expecting. The Berry Baby Hat pattern is free and can be found online here. I used Vanna's Choice Acrylic by Lion Brand Yarns, as it's affordable and washing machine friendly.
I've also started yet another knitting project. I currently have three fairly large and somewhat complex knitting projects on the go at the moment. Each of them requires a bit of concentration so that I can follow a chart and count stitches. I wanted to have a project handy that was a little more straight-forward so that I could knit and chat or watch a foreign film, or hang with friends. So I started my black and gray Daybreak shawl.
